What's New

v1.2.0August 22, 2026 Our Biggest Update Yet ⌄

New features

• Multi-Device Support

Use Atlas Logged across all your devices with seamless sync

• iCloud Backup

Your travel history is now safely backed up to iCloud

• Photo History

See your photos alongside your country stays and travel timeline

• Feedback & Support

New feedback screen to easily get in touch with us

• Time Zones, Done Right

Each day now knows the time zone you lived it in: photos line up with your travel days, and a new Time Zone card shows the local time there versus your time now.

• Home Nations, Day by Day

Trips around the UK now show England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland per day - a drive from Wales into England shows both, in order.

• Device Fleet Management

Declare the devices you use, claim this one from the list, and rename, retire or hand over the primary role from Settings.

Improvements

• Onboarding Experience

Completely redesigned setup flow to get you started faster

• Calendar Reliability

Stable month navigation and background refresh without snapping back

• Performance

Faster app launch and smoother navigation throughout

• Switching to a New iPhone

Upgrading moves your setup and history over cleanly - and the app now recognises your phone even when the system misreports its storage size.

• Editing Your Stays

Swipe to edit, hide or delete stays in your travel history, with clearer handling while history is being recalculated.

Bug fixes

• Tracking Recovery

Location tracking can no longer be silently left off after testing or unusual shutdowns - the app now detects and recovers from GPS outages.

• Phantom Stays

Fixed rare cases where the calendar invented days in a country you had already left.

• Battery

Fixed a loop that could quietly recalculate your history over and over after a long gap in tracking.

• Offline Mode

Choosing “stay offline” during setup now truly stays offline.

• Photo History

The photo timeline scan no longer looks stuck at 100% while it finishes up.

• Privacy Settings

Clearer wording for the highest-accuracy location level.

• Calendar & Logging

Fixed date selection, range validation, and manual log consistency

• Stability
